Examination and Promotion

1. There will be four examinations during the academic session - Unit Test 1, Mid Term Exams, Unit Test II and Final Examination. Students will be tested on the portion covered. Minor changes may be made with regard to the portion and dates of the examinations.
2. Students are expected to be present for all the examinations. Parents / Guardians should encourage and ensure that their wards are regular for all the examinations.
3. Progress reports are issued after every examination. Parents are requested to take note of the remarks and attend the parent -teacher meeting as scheduled.
4. Promotion is granted on the basis of the whole year's performance; hence it is important to be regular.
5. There will be no re-examination for those who remain absent.
6. Those absent due to illness should submit a Medical Certificate along with an application signed by parents within three days of examination.
7. Any student found guilty of malpractice in connection with tests or examinations and who have unwholesome influence on her fellow mates may be expelled permanently or removed from the school for a specified period by the Head of the school.
8. Should Parents / Guardians feel that their child has not made the desired progress, the Principal should be contacted.
9. A pupil who fails twice in the same class will be asked to leave the School.
10. Results declared at the end of the academic session are final in all classes. They will not be changed and answer scripts will not be shown.
11. A pass % of 33 is required to be promoted to the next class.
12. Every child being unique may need to study at their own pace. Hence a child may need more than a year to cope up with studies.
